EMILY CAITO

Emily Caito is a foundry/visual artist based in Cincinnati, Ohio. She does beautiful work, and was in need of branding and promotional items that reflected the same quality and attention to detail. So, we talked. We took time and figured out the aesthetic she was looking for and what type of design would best represent her style. She wanted something clean and smooth, and definitely sans serif, no matter how hard I pushed for (just a bit of) serif. Through email, phone, and in-person communication we created a “brand identity” that stands well on its own and can be incorporated into promotional materials without distracting from what matters most: Her art.

Beyond identity work, Emily Caito needed something to be remembered by. She needed something to give to interested parties at galleries that would supply contact information, but also showcase her abilities and stand out better than a standard business card could. For this, we created a promotional handout/mailer featuring two popular pieces, as well as her logo and contact information.
